2 dead following crash on I-75 in Ocala
OCALA, Fla. (WOGX FOX 51) - Two people are dead following a crash involving three vehicles in Marion County.
Ocala firefighters on Monday afternoon responded to northbound lanes of Interstate 75, near mile marker 350, where they discovered a semi-truck, a small SUV and a four-door sedan had collided.
The driver of the semi-truck and family of four inside the small SUV had no injuries to report; however, the driver and passenger of the sedan succumbed to injuries caused by impact, according to authorities.
Due to the nature of the accident, all northbound lanes of I-75, between exits 350 and 352, were temporarily closed. The identities of the deceased were not immediately released.
