Three arrested after police chase goes through Ocala backyards

Early on Monday morning, deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office were called to Ocala, leading to a chase where suspects drove through people's backyards.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office tried to pull over a suspicious car after they saw it drive through back roads. The car seemed to stop off Cedar Road in Ocala, but instead, it took off through a building and into a backyard. Seconds later, three suspects were on their feet running.

The video from the Marion County Sheriff's Office shows two of the suspects hopping fencing and hiding in sheds. The third suspect was found minutes later attempting to walk inside a nearby home.

Daprix Gadson, Darius Douglas, and a juvenile were all taken into custody.

The sheriff's office says that Gadson was driving the car with just an ID card, plus she had multiple suspensions and later tested positive for opioids. Douglas was being held on more than $30,000 bail because of warrants for burglary, aggravated assault, and grand theft.
