
FAA: Pilot reported 'engine issues' before plane crash
A small plane crashed early Saturday morning at New Smyrna Beach Airport, according to the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department and the FAA. The pilot reported engine issues shortly after takeoff, according to the FAA. Two people were onboard. Neither people were seriously hurt, officials said.
