Dozens of hand sanitizers recalled for possible methanol contamination

LAKE MARY, Fla. - Check your hand sanitizer. It could have an ingredient in it that can be hazardous to your health. 

2020 has become the year of the hand sanitizer, with many people carrying some around because of the pandemic. That's become concerning, as more and more sanitizers are being recalled. 

Rememberg way back when, in the beginning of the pandemic, store shelves wer empty? Hand sanitizer was sold out in most stores.

"You’d be lucky to buy it a couple of months ago. It was nowhere to be found." 

Now if you see them off the shelves, it might be for a different reason: recalls.
