Florida man arrested on murder charges following shooting, deputies say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Florida deputies said they have arrested a man on murder charges following a shooting that took place last year.
Reports show Sharima Martin, 35, died from a gunshot wound back in March.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Shandale Pierre Frances, 44, was arrested on Wednesday in Union City, New Jersey.
Reports show Francis is facing a charge of second degree murder with a firearm.

The backstory:
The Orange County Sheriff's Office reported a woman had died after being shot March 17.
Timeline:
Deputies said they responded to the area of State Road 535 and Lake Bryan Beach Boulevard in regard to the shooting.
When they arrived, they found a woman in her 30s who had been shot, sheriffs said.
Authorities reported the woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
On March 18, officials then released an update, identifying the woman as Martin.
What's next:
Francis will be extradited. However, deputies currently do not know when.
