Orlando weather: Warm days and rain expected before cold snap arrives in Central Florida

TONIGHT:

Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible late.

Patchy and dense fog across the region late tonight into tomorrow morning, so make sure you adjust for time if you plan to travel early tomorrow morning.

Lows tonight will be in the low 60s and upper 50s.

TOMORROW:

Saturday will stay gloomy with cloudy skies and spotty showers, especially along the east coast through the day.

Temperatures will be in the upper 70s with a 20% chance of showers.

THIS WEEKEND:

A cold front sweeps through the region, amping up our chances late Sunday morning and continuing through Sunday afternoon/evening.

It's possible that there could be a few lightning storms as this front moves through.

Overall, heavy downpours and a few thunderstorms are the main threats. Rain totals are anywhere between just a drizzle to about 1-1.5 inches of rain.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Behind this system, the clouds clear and temps drop back into the lower and middle 70s as we round out 2024 and ring in 2025.

2025 will start off with more sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures in the low 70s.

Looking down the road, a cold snap looks to be on the way.

The long-range outlook features a cool down as another front pushes through late next week. We could possibly see highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s and 40s.
