ORLANDO, Fla. - A cold front continues to move in tonight and that's what's responsible for our shower chances. Hit or miss showers are on the table as we progress through the evening and into the overnight.
Overnight lows look to dip back into the 40s to the NW but will be in the lower 50s throughout the metro.
Tuesday will start off dreary with maybe a shower or two lingering, but the afternoon will feature a bit more sunshine. Drier air filters in from the NW, eating away at the clouds and dropping our temps.
Highs on Tuesday afternoon only look to rise into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
More rain chances, rollercoaster ride of temperatures
What's next: Another system in the Gulf looks to slide our way into Thursday and this could bring us a round of showers. At this point, chances are lower but it's something we'll continue to watch.
Overnight lows behind this system look to dip back into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Temperatures then start to moderate of our next cold front, which is slated to arrive late Saturday into Sunday. Highs over the weekend soar back above normal, topping out in the middle and upper 70s.
This system could bring showers and storms on Sunday as instability looks to rise ahead of the boundary. The front also looks to hang-up across the region with rain showers possibly lingering into next Monday. Temps take a big tumble as well, falling back into the lower 60s.
