Special Olympics Florida hold annual 'Champions Gala' in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Special Olympics Florida held their annual 'Champions Gala' in Orange County this weekend.

The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and celebrated the organization's athletes, coaches, and community advocates. Attendees enjoyed a three-course dinner, silent auctions, and live music. There was also an award ceremony where outstanding performers were recognized for their achievements.

Orlando will host the Special Olympics USA Games in 2022.
