Alligator pulled from Florida Keys backyard pool

Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said they recently helped residents by removing a large alligator from their backyard pool in the Florida Keys.

Deputies said they recently helped residents by removing a large alligator from their backyard pool in the Florida Keys. 

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office posted photos and videos of the rescue on its social media pages.

Officials stated the incident took place Friday, Jan. 31, and the pool was located in the Pirates Cove subdivision near Mile Marker 98 in Key Largo.
