Orange County is the only one in Florida allowing anyone 40 and older to sign up for the coronavirus vaccine. Officials said 7,000 vaccine appointments were booked in just 13 minutes on Monday, when the spots opened.

While Orlando's FEMA site is out of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, they are still offering Pfizer, and on Wednesday, 450 vaccines were leftover.

Vaccinating the Hispanic community

About 4.5 million people in Florida have gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far. However, only a fraction of those numbers include Hispanics. Data shows about half-a-million Hispanics have actually been vaccinated.

Many COVID-19 long-haulers experienced these symptoms

Some coronavirus patients are still dealing with symptoms, months after they contracted the infection. A new study found that people who experience five symptoms during the first week of illness are more likely to become long-haulers. They include fatigue, headaches, hoarse voice, muscle pain and difficulty breathing.
