The nationwide surge on rent prices is forcing renters to dig deeper into their pockets to help them find or maintain housing as a federal moratorium on evictions has now ended. Orlando is among the top 10 markets to rent increases for the month of January.

Plane crashes on Interstate 95
A small plane crashed onto Interstate 95 near the Flagler-Volusia county line at mile marker 279. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said the plane lost power and the pilot attempted an emergency landing but clipped a tractor-trailer truck upon approach.
