Celebrating Jackie Robinson's birthday and Fla. legacy

January 31 is the birthday of Jackie Robinson, the pioneering baseball player who broke the color barrier. The first time he did so was during spring training in Daytona Beach. That stadium is now named after him. It is where the Daytona Tortugas play today. Jim Jaworski, president and general manager of the Tortugas, joined FOX 35 News+ to talk about Robinson's legacy and the importance of telling his story in central Florida.

Several UF, FSU players headed to Super Bowl

Peter Holland Jr., Florida State University sports reporter for the Tallahassee Democrat, joined Florida Live to talk about the Seminoles on the Super Bowl roster and which player to watch. The Kansas City Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at the SuperDome in New Orleans. You can watch it February 9 on FOX 35.

Banchero has been out for weeks with an injury. His return is expected to bring a spark to a Magic team that has struggled offensively.
