Parents of football players at Viera High School are expected to meet with district officials Monday night after allegations of hazing surfaced last week. Amid the investigation, the head football coach has been relieved of his duties and the football program has been suspended indefinitely. Some parents who have kids in the marching band are now concerned that their kids' activities will be impacted by those few students who allegedly participated in the hazing.

Ride shut down after boy falls off it

A roller coaster at Fun Spot America's theme park in Kissimmee, Florida, has been shut down after a boy was injured while riding it. Officials said the boy was found 20 feet beneath "The Galaxy Spin's" track and had 'traumatic injuries.' It's unclear exactly how the boy ended up off the ride, but the Osceola County Fire Rescue Department said it initially received a call reporting a boy had fallen off the ride.

Press conference: Osceola County deputy arrested

An Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputy has been fired and arrested for allegedly using a law enforcement database to repeatedly search the name of a friend, who is accused of having sex with a minor, to see if that friend had any active warrants. Deputy Arturo Dominguez was fired and arrested on four counts of various charges.

Deputies: Parent knocks out umpire

The incident started after an argument ensued between an umpire and a player at Liberty High School in Kissimmee. The teen's father left the bleachers and punched the umpire.

State Attorney Worrell challenges Osceola County Sheriff's criticism

Florida State Attorney Monique Worrell challenged criticism from Osceola County Sheriff Marco Lopez, who held a press conference last week alleging that people arrested on drug charges were not being prosecuted. Worrell said 36 cases were pending, 12 cases were downgraded, and 14 were dropped.
