Melbourne 'active shooter' update from police

[9:20 a.m. update] Sgt. Ben Slover with the Melbourne Police Department shared an update Wednesday morning about the "active shooter" situation in the area of Babcock Street and Strawbridge Avenue. He confirmed that a person is holed up in an apartment. When officers arrived on a call, the suspect allegedly started to shoot at them. Stay tuned to FOX 35 for more updates.
