Orange County deputy-involved shooting: Press conference

A man armed with a knife was shot and killed by Orange County deputies early Saturday morning after he allegedly ran towards deputies, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. A woman called 911 to report that her boyfriend was armed with a knife and threatening to harm himself. Deputies responded to tried to help the man, who refused to come out of his hotel room, OCSO said. That man eventually did, but then ran towards the deputies, who shot him.
