Flood prevention measures taken at Big Sand Lake

People living near Big Sand Lake in the Dr. Phillips area of Orange County have seen docks underwater due to the recent rains. They are concerned that canals connected to the lake are cleared for proper drainage of rain expected from Hurricane Helene.
