Florida State Attorney election: Monique Worrell
Monique Worrell was elected State Attorney for Florida's Ninth District Court in 2020. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended Worrell, effectively removing her from the position in August 2023. Gov. DeSantis then appointed Andrew Bain to the role. Worrell and Bain will face-off in the November 2024 election for the position. She talked with FOX 35's Ryan Elijah about the role, position, and her candidacy.
