Deltona woman shot, killed by ex-husband: Sheriff

Authorities say 38-year-old Ashley Vaia, a mother of three, was shot and killed early Monday morning in her home on Parma Drive in Deltona. According to Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, her ex-husband, 33-year-old Samuel Vaia, was the shooter.
