
1 dead, 2 injured in National Harbor Easter Sunday shooting
The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) hosted a news conference on the officer-involved shooting that took place on Easter Sunday in Maryland. Police said they responded around 8:28 a.m. to a stabbing call in the area of St. George Boulevard and Potomac Passage. Officers said they found two people with critical stab wounds. Before fleeing the scene, investigators said the suspect also set fire to the apartment where the stabbing took place. Police said they shot and killed the suspect, who was still armed with a knife and moved towards them. No officers were hurt in the incident.
