WHAT IS THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY AROUND ORLANDO?
Tonight’s forecast low: 75 degrees
Tomorrow's forecast high: 93 degrees
Main weather concerns: Drier air is keeping a cap on the shower activity across Central Florida in the early afternoon. Shower and storm activity will increase with the afternoon sea breeze. However, it will be scattered in nature towards I-75. A few storms will be strong, with the main threats being frequent lightning strikes, downpours, and wind gusts up to 40 mph. The activity will stop in the early evening.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR WALT DISNEY WORLD, UNIVERSAL, AND SEAWORLD?
Monday will be a rainy day for the parks with the chances of rain starting early. The chance of rain remains high starting at 9 am until the evening. It will be steamy also with temperatures peaking in the low 90s. Feels like temperatures will be close to 100. Make sure to stay hydrated while walking through the park, and do not forget the poncho!
WHAT IS THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BEACHES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA?
The chances of rain remain lower at the beaches making for another great beach day. The day starts off with a slight chance of rain in the morning with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s., and the UV index will be high so make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen. There will be another chance for rain in the afternoon. The surf will be around 2 ft and the chances of rip currents will be moderate. When swimming, make sure to swim by a lifeguard stand.
LOOKING AHEAD: Rain chances are on the rise to start the week off. Tomorrow there will be a 50% chance of rain increasing to 60% on Tuesday. The rain chances start early in the morning tomorrow, so make sure to grab that umbrella headed out the door. This week will be steamy with temperatures in the low 90s, but really feeling like the triple digits factoring in the humidity.
