Clermont woman crowned Miss Florida, will go on to Miss America pageant

LAKELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A new Miss Florida has been crowned.

Michaela McLean took home the crown and sash over the weekend in Lakeland.

McLean is a Clermont native and just graduated from the University of Alabama.

She will now go on to complete in the Miss America pageant.
