Man arrested in Florida after allegedly stealing mosquito control truck, police say
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orange County and Seminole County sheriff's offices say a man was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing an Orange County Mosquito Control (OCMS) truck.
Sheriff's say they responded around 9:15 a.m. to the 1300 block of Oberry Hoover Road in regards to a stolen Orange County Government vehicle.
Officers report a government employee had parked his truck and left it running while performing routine mosquito activity checks.

While the employee was working, a man rode up on an electric bike, abandoned the bike and stole the truck, the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) says.
Reports state the employee was not hurt, and the man and truck were gone by the time deputies arrived at the scene.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says they received a call to assist the OCSO when the stolen truck entered Seminole County.
Deputies say they followed the truck, and the man continued to drive despite multiple flat tires from deployed stop sticks.
The man eventually stopped in Sanford at the intersection of West 22nd Street and Cedar Avenue, police say.
The sheriff's report the man was arrested and will be booked into the SCSO on Felony Grand Theft charges.
The man currently has not been identified, and there are no available photos of the man or the truck, deputies say.
The sheriff's offices say they are working with OCMC on the active investigation.
