Orlando weather: Passing showers overnight with dense morning fog across Central Florida on Thursday
ORLANDO, Fla. - Expect a few passing rain showers or occasional thunderstorms overnight.
Dense fog is forecast to develop overnight into early Thursday, with particularly hazardous conditions likely along the I-4 corridor. Motorists should prepare for potentially dangerous travel.
Thursday forecast in Central Florida
On Thursday, that dense fog will lift by mid-morning, giving way to a mix of clouds and sunshine. A passing shower is possible during the day, though activity will be isolated. A cold front is expected to move through Central Florida later in the day.
On Friday, the day may start cloudy, but skies will clear rapidly by midday, with sunny conditions by the afternoon. Cooler and less humid air continues to sink southward into Friday as highs cool back down closer to average. Expect highs in the lower to middle 60s with lows in the lower 40s.
What will the weekend weather be like in Orlando?
Mostly sunny with cool afternoons and chilly nights. Temperatures will dip into the 40s across much of the region, with some areas like Ocala and Gainesville seeing lows in the 30s. A northwest wind could add a noticeable wind chill.
LOOKING AHEAD: Temperatures will rebound into the 70s early next week, bringing warmer conditions.
